Announcement of student bursaries

We are pleased to announce that funding is available from the DOE Office of Science for students and post-doctoral attendees of the 16th WTTC.  Bursaries of up to $1250 will be provided, depending on the number of awards given. 

The deadline for submission of abstracts qualifying for bursaries and the bursary application below is May 30th.

Eligibility:
Financial assistance is available to undergraduate students, graduate students or post-doctoral fellows who are presenting abstracts at WTTC16. U.S. citizens will be given primary preference for bursary awards.  Foreign trainees at U.S. Institutions will have secondary preference contingent on sufficient funding. Foreign trainees at U.S. Institutions will have secondary preference contingent on sufficient funding. All awards are contingent on the availability of sufficient funding, and effort will be made to consider individual need based on varying proximity to the workshop venue. 

Requirements: All applicants must send by May 30th:
(1) a submitted abstract (for oral or poster presentation) to the 16th Workshop on Targetry and Target Chemistry,
(2) a letter from their supervisor confirming student, graduate student or post-doctoral status at the time of the meeting,
(3) a CV or resume,
(4) a short (<1 page) statement describing their motivation for attending the workshop.
